THE LEGEND
Born from a dare.
Bottled in 1984.
The story goes that the Long Island Iced Tea started on Long Island, New York, in the 1970s as a bartender’s dare: five spirits in one glass that somehow passes for iced tea. It became a bar classic.
In 1984, Montebello put it in a bottle, so anyone could pour one without a bartender. Today the Original leads a lineup of four flavors.
